Hairstyles for Brides With Chin-Length Hair : Hair Styling Tips

0:11model today crystal i’ll be demonstrating how to do bridal styles on
0:16chin length hair now getting started what I prefer to do is go in throughout
0:21the whole entire head with a curling iron and what that’s going to do is get
0:25the hair a little bend in some movement as to which we can then pick up into
0:29enough to getting started
0:31i’m going to use an inch curling iron here and what this is going to do it
0:35will give her hair some wave some movement without be it being too
0:39ringlets II you know I like to start in the front
0:44first of all and I’m going to curl crystals hair you can see away from the
0:49face you don’t want to curl it towards the face because that’s going to cover
0:52up crystals beautiful face so her groom won’t be able to see her come down the
0:55i/o and so I’m just going to go and i’ll demonstrate a few curls for you now and
1:00then we’ll fast forward and i’ll show you what to do with the curls after
1:03they’re done and you just really take it section by section here
1:08curling everything up and away from the face you see here just giving her these
1:15little Ben’s little ringlets that will then I’ll be placed into the gorgeous do
1:19for crystal
2:02and you can already see how the curls here they’re very neat and clean and
2:07then we’re just going to start by pinning everything that once the whole
2:10head is Carl’s
2:11so we’ve been able to curl crystals whole head and now what I would like to
2:17do is see i mean i would like to give her some more height and body here a
2:21little height here on the crown as well as throughout her part line as well
2:26so to do this i’m going to do is just take a comb
2:30tease tease tease and will sculpt from there and I mean you have to think about
2:36your bride is she wearing a veil
2:39how do you see the up24 crystal for instance I mean look at her she’s
2:44beautiful isn’t she
2:45what I’m on division i have personally is taking everything over to one side
2:50and giving her a very elegant look just because you have chin length hair
2:55doesn’t mean that you
2:56you know you can’t have it look as though your hair’s down to your butt you
3:00know
3:00so let’s go ahead will tease her crown area here and you want to give it a
3:05really nice strong tease
3:07crystal is going to be dancing all night at her reception the last thing I want
3:10is this up to falling apart and you can see I mean it’s already happening it’s
3:20already happening so you really just want to go through the whole top portion
3:24of the head
3:25the shoe horn if you will and just tease that up
3:29don’t really worry about it just get that height in there and tease away and
3:35once everything’s all teas will go back over it with our comb just to smooth
3:40things out
3:45I love this bang her fringe in the front here so i really want to utilize that as
3:51well give her that dramatic sexy swoop you know
4:03yeah
4:11yeah
4:13and I just using a teasing comb you know really no hairspray necessary because
4:17you still want the hair to be soft and sexy all at the same time
4:21now we’re just going to go in here smooth out the top of the head let me
4:26turn it safe
4:27I can show you guys what I’m doing and really just ever so lightly going in
4:31over the T’s and smoothing everything out and see we’ve really been able to
4:42give her that height and body as opposed to kind of hang flat on the head
4:46now the fun begins the weapon into now is really bring everything over to one
4:52side and you can see how this elegance is already starting to form
4:56so what I like to do is really all you need now is some Robbie pins
5:07so you can see on crystal here i’ll spin you as much as i can spend
5:14we’re really just taking everything over here making it smooth and sexy and
5:19elegant and then we’ll have fun on this side of her head
5:31in coordinating bobby pins are essential as well
5:36crystal she is blonde up top of brown underneath so let’s use both tones the
5:42might biggest pet peeve with any up to is still have your bobby pins showing
5:47that is the worst that when you pin they all have to be hit on a bigger foot down
5:52going here
5:56open the body in up and slide it right in here and what this is going to do is
6:02secure the hair one pin is not enough however that’s why you want to go in
6:07there and lock them like an X so nothing falls out
6:11one pin alone is going to slide out but if you interlock them kind of like the
6:15detailing on crystal shirt here that everything will stay in place
6:20mirror I personally I like this piece hanging down i don’t know what you guys
6:27think
6:27but I mean we have our options let’s see with crystal I like it down to you know
6:32it softens the phase i think it’s very elegant and sexy sweet this piece of
6:37here
6:38now let’s take a look at the up – we haven’t used any hairspray yet
6:41however you can see here and this happens on a lot of options as well you
6:46see there’s a little hole going on here
6:48do not fret my pet that’s easy to cover all you have to do don’t be afraid of
6:53the hair use the hair use it to your advantage that you can actually take
6:57these hairs and just pin and then is Robbie pin right there
7:02use a little hairspray and she’s good to go she is good too
7:06just enough i’ll show you guys what
7:19and it’s a fun up to you know it’s a little softer more elegant on this side
7:23then the curls come down on the other side which I really like
7:26now as far as hairspray I like a medium strength
7:31hairspray something you can continue to mold and play with
7:35it’s really not until your complete with your up to that you want to finish it
7:38with a stronger hold hairspray now with any hairspray on and up to
7:43I prefer more malleable hairs write something that you can’t continue to
7:46work with that is really not until the end of the up to that you want to use
7:51your finishing spray you’re really strong hold hairspray
7:54like I said Chris can dance all night without a hair falling on a playful and
8:01don’t be afraid to get in there with your hands really tell the hair where to
8:04go and where to stay
8:05and voila there you have it
