0:58what’s up my makeup loving friends
1:00welcome back to 31 days of halloween if
1:03you’re new to my channel 31 days of
1:05halloween is where I post a new
1:06Halloween costume makeup tutorial Air
1:09day and act / be sure to subscribe to
1:12make sure that you don’t miss out on any
1:13of the fun is gonna be fun today is
1:16reptilian 60 little lady I had so much
1:19fun with this tutorial i use some new
1:21techniques that I’ve never tried before
1:23so if you want to know how to turn
1:24yourself into a sexy green little
1:26reptile bitch just keep watching
1:28I began by blocking out my eyebrows i do
1:31this by running an Elmer’s glue stick
1:32and a spoolie through my eyebrows then I
1:36powder over the top
1:37I didn’t do this because I wanted them
1:39to look gone the way that most people do
1:41when they block out the brows I just
1:42didn’t want to get any adhesive into my
1:44brow hairs I like having eyebrows then I
1:50wanted to make built-up browse and
1:51scales on my forehead
1:53I’ve never seen his technique used
1:54before but i decided to give it a shot I
1:56saw my model magic sitting there and I
1:58decided just to put it on my forehead
1:59model magic is a play-doh like substance
2:01that I found at walmart in a large tub
2:03for around 15 bucks my friend Jordan
2:05Hans who is an incredible body painting
2:07by the ones also doing 31 days of
2:09halloween go check her out she told me
2:11about model magic months back and it has
2:14since changed my special-effects life it
2:17is such an easy substance to work with
2:19its feather-light it is a foam like
2:22texture but it molds like play-doh and
2:25it’s perfect when adhered to your face
2:27because it doesn’t weigh down whatsoever
2:29i adhered pieces to my face in the areas
2:32that I wanted them and then i molded it
2:34on my face because I don’t have access
2:37to sculpting and casting materials this
2:39is a good DIY to make your own
2:41prosthetics at home i used blunt tip
2:43sculpting tools say that five times fast
2:46and pressed shapes into the model magic
2:49on my face to make a scale like texture
2:51and then took it off and here it back on
2:54my face with pros-aide adhesive
2:56you can use liquid latex to adhere at or
2:59spirit gum but i love the hold of pros
3:01aid and i find it honestly just easier
3:03to remove i sculpted the brows and a
3:06furrowed expression brought the scales
3:08down the bridge of my nose and squeeze
3:09shapes into them with my fingers this
3:12product isn’t fully dry on my face here
3:14but it worked beautifully and stayed
3:16very well then I painted the entirety of
3:18my face prosthetic and chest in a green
3:22water activated paint cream paint blend
3:25amazingly well over water activated
3:27paints like a frickin dream so i padded
3:29white cream paint into the high points
3:31of my face such as my cheeks chin nose
3:34and down on my chest or my collarbones
3:36would be I then contoured the hollows of
3:39my face with a dark green eyeshadow and
3:41added accents of yellow with a cream
3:43paint over the top of the scale and down
3:46onto the chest then patting some of that
3:49green shadow over the skill in the
3:50forehead and then highlighting over them
3:52with a white and yellow to give a more
3:53three-dimensional raised appearance to
3:56further that three dimensional
3:58appearance I then took a dark black
3:59eyeshadow and a small detail brush and
4:02shaded into the cracks of the skills to
4:04make them look raised and deep
4:14using the same black shadow and then
4:16shaded more on the sides of my face and
4:18under my double chin to remove that shit
4:20optical illusion style
4:22I’ll
4:28the shape you see me making my chest is
4:30to look almost rattlesnake tail like I
4:33drew a shape on with black eyeliner and
4:35shaded along the outside of each curve
4:36and then highlighted the center to give
4:38a bulbous larvae appearance
4:41I just wanted a reptilian overall look
4:43not one specific reptile
5:00then using a black eyeshadow and a small
5:02flat lip brush and you on a scale shape
5:05which is essentially just a bunch of
5:07little miss shape and hexagons next 21
5:09another pink squares and stop signs a
5:12draw a bunch of them next to each other
5:14and shave them the same as you shaded
5:16the little bulbous neckpiece along the
5:18outside perimeter and highlighting each
5:20Center you see me build up the
5:22highlights with yellows greens light
5:24green and white cream paint at the end i
5:26like to use my finger for this because a
5:27lot of the time your finger is just the
5:29perfect tool to use to tap out a product
5:31and really make a nice even blend these
5:34are by no means perfect on me but they
5:36give the appearance overall that I was
5:38looking for
5:47ok
5:50then I took some more of the same
5:52colored green pain that I did on the
5:54chest and drew in between it to clean it
5:56up a bit and then added a little bit of
5:58white highlight
6:03then with my signature black and green
6:05dots you know how I love my . i added
6:08some more detailed dotting along the
6:09sides of the face and on the skills of
6:12my chest
6:20looking at the shape of an iguana’s
6:22mouth i drew on a black line extending
6:24from my lips to almost look amphibious
6:33I drew on a winged liner and line my
6:35upper and lower water lines with a black
6:38eyeliner and draw on a coat of mascara
6:42some lashes and painted my hair green
6:45with a cream paint which to be honest
6:47with you I still have in my hair and
6:50it’s literally like four days later so
6:52maybe use green hairspray thank you so
6:53much
6:58for final details i popped in some cat
7:01eye contact lenses in the yellow cat
7:03color from Annalise calm and that my
7:06little Halloween loving friends is the
7:08finished tutorial i hope you guys love
7:10it
7:11this one was super fun for me I love
7:13trying new techniques i had tried before
